

He was born to the late Paul Nathan Gottlieb and June Gottlieb Brown November 2, 1955 in Charlotte, NC. He attended East Mecklenburg High School and helped run the family Army Navy store. After getting married, he pursued a career as an electrician and owned Gottlieb’s Electric Company for 30+ years. His greatest accomplishments were raising his three children. He supported and loved the three of them dearly. He was a joy to be around and he brought light to everyone’s life he came into contact with. He will be missed by so many.
He is survived by his three loving children: Brandy Nolen (Russell) of Matthews, NC, Josh Gottlieb (Tiffany) of Kings Mountain, NC, and Jessica Parke (Brad) of Clover, SC; and his eight grandchildren whom he adored: Hunter, Emma, Harrison, Anna, Hudson, Holden, Hayden and Greysen.
He is also survived by five sisters: Terry Gottlieb Deal, Sandi Gottlieb Lorrey, Robin Crosier (Roy), Toni Hudgins (Ed), and Happi Moore (Bruce); his step-father, Jim Brown; and siblings, Mike Brown (Georgeanne) and Becky Daniels (Jim).
A service will be held at the Hebrew Cemetery on Tuesday July 19th at 2:00 pm.
A service to honor his life will also be held at Team Church in Matthews, NC on Wednesday July 20th at 11:30 am. The children have requested all family and friends to come.
