Jennifer Marie Powers, 46, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on May 20, 2015 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Charlotte. A native of Mecklenburg County, she was the daughter of Marie Eury Powers and the late Henry Rushell Powers. She was a resident of RHA-Howell Center in Charlotte.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by one brother, Matthew Powers, of Charlotte; by her aunts and uncles, Margie Rogers of Charlotte, NC, Gladys Caldwell of Charlotte, James Hasty and his wife Anita of Harrisburg, James Eury of Charlotte, and Larry C. Eury of Charlotte. She is also survived by many, many cousins.
Jennifer’s family will receive friends at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 24, 2015. A service celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 PM in the Charlotte Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park. Interment will immediately follow the service in the Gardens of Sharon Memorial Park.
