Jim Dale Yandle

I, James Dale (Jim) Yandle, completed my life’s journey on Sunday, June 28, 2026. I was born 85 years ago on February 17, 1941, a cold and rainy morning, the third child of loving parents Jane Harkey and Harold Yandle, of Indian Trail, NC. I am survived by my wife Jan Duckworth, my sister Diane, my brother Donald (Tony), my daughter Laura, my sons Rick, John, & Joey and my grandsons Ben and Ryan. I was preceded in death by my parents Harold Yandle and Janie Harkey Yandle, my sister Yvonne Kay Yandle Cifelli and my grandson Scotty Yandle.

To those who know me well, I ask that you not mourn my passing, as I enjoyed a long and fulfilling life, with few regrets and still fewer disappointments. It is my wish that you, my friends and loved ones, think of me from time to time, and remember fondly our happy days together.

To those of you I fathered, I couldn’t have been more proud of you. It is my hope that you will carry my genes just as proudly and keep in your hearts the father who loved you dearly.

Lastly, I have not gone away to some mythical place to receive my due. No, I was properly rewarded, as we all are, during my lifetime, for both my good and bad deeds. And all in all, I got was I deserved.
