Reverend Joe L Bumpass, age 68 of Charlotte passed away March 5, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be at 2:15PM Sunday at Grace Memorial Missionary Baptist Church, 4001 Nevin Road, Reverend Lawrence Mayes officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:15PM at the church. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Reverend Bumpass served as associate minister of the church and owned and operated Bumpass Concrete and Grading, as well as Bumpass Lawn and Landscaping Service. Surviving is his wife, Dianne Drakewood Bumpass, children, Corey Bumpass, Minister David Henderson and Minister Myra Chanel Henderson and three grandchildren.
