Joe B Elliott

Joe was born on October 3, 1932, to proud parents Robert Banks Elliott and Darby Feimster Elliott. He was a loving husband to his wife of sixty-eight years, Anne Bullard Elliott, and a caring father to daughter Melody Anne Stallings (Brad), and son Joe Banks Elliott, Jr. (Charla). He leaves three grandchildren Summer Ann Stallings, Zachary Stallings (Elysia) and Melissa Elliott Woody (Savosko) and four great granddaughters Kiaya, Ellie, and Aria Stallings and London Woody. His cherished grandson, Joe Banks Elliott, III, preceded him in death.

Joe was a native of Charlotte, North Carolina, currently residing for many years on his Horse Farm in Alabama. He was a military veteran having served in the Air Force for twenty-four years during both the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was also a graduate of Park College and a Master Mason.

Being blessed by God with many talents his true joy was always being ready to help and serve others. The family requests any memorials be directed to The Parkinson’s Foundation.

Graveside services will be on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 11:30 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 6230 Beatties Ford Rd., Charlotte, NC 28216. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church.
