A graduate of Harding High School, Chris was previously employed with Motor Casting Repair and Carolina Crankshaft.
He enjoyed sports of all kinds including bowling, NASCAR, traveling in his younger years and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Geraldine Coley; sisters, Debbie Coley and Sandra Massey; nieces, Kimberly (Daniel) Williams and Brandie (Britt) Hull; nephew, Johnathan (Terri) Massey; numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; aunts, Cathy (Mike) Osborne, Mary (Stancil) Askew, Carol Fay Holbrook and Kay Smith; numerous relatives and friends.
In addition to his father, Chris was preceded in death by his nephew, Curtis Massey.
A visitation for Chris will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM until the time of his memorial service at 2:00 PM in the chapel of McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Chris' honor.
