Mr. Taylor, age 81, of Charlotte, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Carolinas Medical Center - University. Born June 9, 1934 in Covington, KY, he was a son of the late Albert and Aleene Taylor. Mr. Taylor retired as National Sales Manager of 3M Corporation after 35 years of service.
An informal visitation/reception will be held 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM Saturday at Wilson Funeral & Cremation Service. A graveside service will immediately follow in Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include four children, Doug Taylor, Cindy Taylor, Scott Taylor and wife, Sue and Peggy Culbertson and husband, David; two granddaughters, Jackie Taylor and Amanda Taylor; and a brother, Bill Taylor and wife, Mary Jane. In addition to his parents, Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Gobel Taylor; and a brother, Albert Taylor.
