I remember running cross country and playing basketball with Jonathan in high school. We were great friends at that time and I never thought of him as any less than an awesome person. It really saddened me when I heard the news of his passing. He was such a kind soul...

I’ve known Jonathan since we were babies at daycare. We worked together in the summer as lifeguards and hung out at the pool. We went to school together through high school. I rode with him and his mom to school, until he got his license then he and I rode together, until I got my license. He was such a fun-loving, outgoing, kind hearted guy. After school when we didn’t have sports or anything to stay after for, we would race each other home to Stanley to see who could get there first- that’s how I got pulled over for the first time. He won the race that day, like most other days. He will surely be missed!

I was so heartbroken when I heard of Jonathan’s passing. He and his brother, Josef, were both students of mine at Kiser Elementary. Even as a child, Jonathan was well-liked by his peers. He was a funny, easy-going, and very respectful child thanks to the support of his close- knit and supportive family. Always fun- loving, he was a joy to have in the classroom. Possessing a gentle and kind spirit, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Prayers for peace and comfort for the Hildreth family, friends, and loved ones in the days ahead............Vicki Bumgardner

Jonathan was one of my daycare babies. He and my oldest daughter grew up together from daycare, all the way through school. They rode to school together and were lifeguards together. He was always a great kid and I loved him and his parents. You all are in my prayers!

We live just down the road from where Jonathan grew up and I got to know him from his time working at the local pool . He was a hard working ,friendly young man that everyone seemed to love to be around. I came to notice that some days when he didn't have a car, he ran the 3 miles to town to work. He was dedicated. That sweet smile and kind way in interacting with folks will stay in my mind and my heart for a lifetime. He was a very special young man. Just couldn't help but love him. Prayers of comfort for the family. God bless and keep you as we have a new angel running through the fields of heaven tonight.
