Joe, 64, of Pineville passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021.

Born March 24, 1957 in Upper St. Clair, PA, he was a son of Gladys Constant and the late Joseph Constant. He graduated from Chartiers Valley High School.

Joe was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Charlotte. He was an avid amateur astronomer and enjoyed photography.

In addition to his mother, Joe is survived by his wife, Saundra; three children, Amber Mellon (Matthew), Joseph Charles Constant (Stacey) and Steven Andrew Constant; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Mark, Ann and Patrick Mellon, and Miriam and Josie Constant; a brother, William Constant (Jane); and two sisters, Lisa Lyon (Dave) and Tammy Tyrone (Dale).

Joe's family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 pm Tuesday, March 30th, at Messiah Lutheran Church followed by a funeral service at 1:00 pm in the church sanctuary. Interment will be in Forest Lawn East Cemetery in Weddington.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Messiah Lutheran Church, 8300 Providence Road, Charlotte, NC 28277.
