Joe Lark passed away peacefully in his home on the morning of Tuesday, Feb 11th 2025. Joe was a gregarious, funny man known for his smile and laughter, and was beloved by all who knew him. He moved from Rochester, New York to retire in Charlotte, North Carolina where he golfed happily at Raintree Country Club for many years.
Joe was a scratch golfer, darts enthusiast, card shark, a great bowler, and a former farmer. He was also a member of the Gold Prospectors Association of America and a metal detecting hobbyist. He was a devout patriot and Trump supporter. In his career as an expert printer, he was known as a hardworking man, and a loyal member of the Teamsters Union.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle he is survived by his wife Addie and three children Joe Jr., Veronica, and Andrea. He is also survived by grandchildren Kyle, Alexis, Brandon, Aubrey, Madison and Addison, and great grandson Samson. In addition to sister Sue and brother Denis.
He will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 16th, 2025, at 1pm at McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel located at 10500 Park Road in Charlotte, NC.
