Joseph Earl Miller

A service to celebrate his life will be at 7:00PM Thursday evening at Life Builders Church of God, Reverend Don Whichard officiating. Visitation will be at the church following the service. Interment will be at 11:00AM Friday morning at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.

Joe was born in Gaston County June 25, 1934 son of the late Isaac Stanley and Grace Johnson Miller. He was a member of Life Builders Church of God, was a former Sunday School Teacher and Superintendent of Sunday School and served on the Pastor’s Council. He retired from Bonded Distribution as a Shipping Clerk.

Survivors include his wife of 5l years, Margaret Helton Miller, sons, Reverend Wayne Miller (Debbie) of Mebane, NC, Reverend Alan Miller (Stacey) of Concord, NC and Reverend Sandy Crowe (Rev. Sam Crowe) of Lenoir, NC, grandchildren, Kayla, Tara, Megan, Chloe, Jordan, Caleb, and Kyle, sisters, Margie Matthews of Gastonia, NC and Elvie Bowen of Lowell, NC and a brother, C. V. Miller of Gastonia, NC.
