Martha, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your husband, Joe. I am so glad, however, that you were together for 59 years. It is hard to see our Myers Park friends facing life’s difficulties, but that is a consequence of living to our age. I wish you the best in years to come.
Sincerely,
Pat Willingham Zarantonello

Joe was my dear friend for over 60 years starting when he was in prep school at Belmont Abbey and during his college days there. We stayed in close touch for all the years since his Abbey days and enjoyed similar work in the pharmaceutical industry during much of our similar careers. . As children my sons played with Joe and Martha's sons. The loss of my friend is the end of an important life long connection and I will miss him terribly. We are praying for God's comfort for Joe's family.
