Edward “Joshua” Loftus , born November 9, 1984 was called home into the arms of his heavenly father while the world slept in the early morning hours of May 19, 2011. Joshua loved, worshipped and sang praises to his Lord all of the days he walked this earth. It was his dream to see all turn to his Messiah, Comforter, Lord and King, Jesus and knew his God was the true God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Although the time he walked this earth seems to those who loved him way too short, his family knows they were blessed by God as he honored them with Joshua’s exuberance and love of life and love for them. We each walk this earth as travelers here for a time before returning to our real and permanent home. I am certain that Joshua heard the words he longed for, although sooner than expected. “Well done my good and faithful servant”. He is now in the presence of those he loved who preceded him; his Father, Edward, his Grandma Florie and his Aunt Lorri. Those of us left behind grieve his passing, though they are certain he rejoices as he finally sees all. He left behind for a time his loving Mother, Barbara, his Brothers John and Paul, Sister in-law Marissa and his Niece and Nephews, as well as his Uncle Harvey and Aunt Rae and their children. In lieu of flowers please make your donations to the Humane Society. It was one of Joshua’s dreams to spend his life working with animals. He adored them “great & small”.
