She was the daughter of the late Arthur Daniel Freeman and Barbara Christenbury Freeman. Joyce worked at Keith Chiropractic Clinic. She was an avid gardener, a wonderful cook (who never sent you home without a plate full of food) and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Her faith in the Lord was strong and gave her undeniable strength, which helped her to weather the storms of life. Joyce had a smile that would light up the room and left quite an impression on everyone she met. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out.
She is survived by her two daughters: Ashley Hunsucker and Brooke Hopkins; grandchildren: Isaiah Joseph Hunsucker and Waylon Zane Hopkins; a sister, Diane Boyd and a brother, Timothy Freeman; three nieces; two nephews, seven great nieces and five great nephews.
Her family honors her life and memory in this time of farewell.
Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, the 7th of July 2025 at McEwen Funerals & Cremations at Forest Lawn West, 4601 Freedom Drive, Charlotte, NC 28208.
