Judy worked for many years as a Title Clerk for several car dealerships in Charlotte and finished out her working career as a Cafeteria Associate at Independence High School. She was also a faithful and devoted member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and she loved her church family.
Judy is survived by her husband of 40 years Lamar Cooper; three sons, Donnie Starnes and wife Lynne, Bobby Starnes and wife Sherry, and Rusty Starnes and wife Lynn; three sisters, Linda McCullough and husband Melvin, Becky McCall and husband David and Wanda Grant; brother, Baxter Holmes; and she was also blessed with eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Judy, you will be forever in our hearts and minds. You are a true servant of the Lord. Rest in peace and we will love you forever.
