Mrs. Goble is the reason History and Social Studies were my favorite subject. She was a excellent teacher and a caring person. She was my 7th grade teacher in 1987 at Wilson Middle. My Prayers go out to the family.

Judy was my mentor teacher in 1986 at Wilson Middle School. My student teaching experience was the best I could have ever had! I thought she was so hard on me at first, bc she did not tell me exactly what to teach or how to teach. I soon discovered that I would learn nothing if she did it all for me. She was so kind and patient with me. I learned what it meant to be a" real" teacher and how to give and get respect from children. She was not afraid to show me what the day to day classroom was like. I have now retired from teaching myself after 30 years. I was so blessed that she shared her knowledge with me. I am so sorry for your loss, but I also know of her great faith. She demonstrated that love to me also. God Bless her, as I am positive that she is in the arms of Jesus!

Judy was my first cousin; my mom (Doris), her father’s sister. My childhood was full of events involving our two families and our shared grandmother (Baw Baw), Ida Eller Stewart. Judy and her sister Brenda took me to school on my very first day. Celeste Henkel was grades 1-12; therefore, Doodle (Conrad), Judy, Brenda, and James were in the upper grades when I started first grade. Gary joined Trudy in later years. Judy was a class act, and she was a role model when I became an English teacher. My love runs deeply for that entire branch of our family.

To the family of Judy Goble, it is with heartfelt prayers and condolences to you and entire Covenant UMC Church during this time of bereavement. Judy was more to me than a person serving as her pastor, but a true confidant and friend when I needed her!

Mrs. Goble was one of my favorite 7th grade teachers at Wilson Middle. She taught me so much and I love looking back at our old journals from her class. She taught me, my brother, my sister, and my dad. 3 generations! She will be missed!

Bonnie and I have fond memories of being in the home of Judy and Ray for the annual choir Christmas parties. They were faithful members during my time as their pastor. I pray that God will comfort each of you as you grieve her death.
