Julio Garcia Madin

Julio nació el 13 de abril de 1967 en la Ciudad de México, donde creció hasta su adolescencia. Trabajó como oficial de policía en México antes de emprender su camino hacia los Estados Unidos. Fue allí donde conoció a su esposa, Josefina, y juntos construyeron su vida y criaron a sus tres hijas: Cintya, Luz y Sophia.

Julio era el tipo de persona que podía hacerte sentir como si lo conocieras de toda la vida. Era alegre, divertido, apasionado y, sobre todo, un buen amigo. Le encantaba hacer reír a la gente y hacer sentir a todos bienvenidos. Una de las cosas que la gente recordará de él es la manera en que recibía a todos con cariño. Ya fueras un amigo cercano, un familiar o alguien a quien acababa de conocer, Julio tenía una manera especial de hacerte sentir como parte de su familia. Él hacía que las personas se sintieran como en casa dondequiera que estuvieran.

También era muy trabajador y se enorgullecía de lo que hacía. Después de mudarse a los Estados Unidos, se convirtió en pintor y desarrolló una reputación por su dedicación y atención al detalle en su trabajo. Era apasionado por hacer bien las cosas y se esforzaba mucho para asegurarse de que su trabajo dejara una impresión duradera en muchos hogares.

Cuando no estaba trabajando, a Julio le encantaba cantar karaoke, jugar y ver fútbol. Le encantaba estar rodeado de personas, organizar fiestas, contar historias, reír, jugar y crear recuerdos. Más que nada, amaba a su familia y valoraba profundamente los momentos que podía compartir con ellos.

Julio fue precedido en la muerte por su madre, Enedina Madin, y su padre, Francisco García.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa, Josefina Lara Martínez; sus hijas, Susana García, Cintya García, Luz García Lara y Sophia García Lara; y sus hijos, Julio Manuel Morales García, Mirlette Pamela Morales García, Diana Camila Sanchez Garcia y Elias Bare. También deja atrás a sus hermanos y hermanas, muchos familiares y amigos queridos que lo amaron y cuyas vidas fueron tocadas por su bondad.

Julio será recordado por su risa, su buen humor, su carisma, su disposición para ayudar a los demás y su pasión por la vida. Pero, sobre todo, será recordado por la manera en que hacía sentir a las personas. Tenía una forma de convertir a los amigos en familia, y cualquiera que lo conociera podía sentir que era parte de algo especial.

Su familia llevará consigo sus historias, su risa, su amor y los recuerdos que les regaló durante el resto de sus vidas. Aunque ya no esté aquí, el amor que brindó seguirá viviendo en los corazones de las personas que lo conocieron y permanecerá con ellas para siempre.

La familia recibirá a familiares y amigos el jueves 13 de agosto de 2026, de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. La familia invita a todos aquellos que amaron a Julio a traer una fotografía o un recuerdo para colocarlo en la mesa conmemorativa en su honor.

La Misa de Funeral se celebrará al día siguiente, viernes 14 de agosto, en Iglesia Católica Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, ubicada en 6212 Tuckaseegee Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214.

Después de la misa, Julio será llevado a su lugar de descanso final en Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, ubicado en 1520 W Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262, inmediatamente después del servicio.

Julio Garcia Madin, 59, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on August 10, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Julio was born on April 13, 1967, in Mexico City where he grew up through his late teenage years. He worked as a police officer in Mexico before eventually making his way to the United States. It was here that he met his wife, Josefina, and together they built their life and raised their daughters: Cintya, Luz, and Sophia.

Julio was the kind of person who could make you feel like you had known him forever. He was outgoing, funny, passionate, and, above all, goofy. He loved to joke around and make people laugh. One of the things people will remember most about him was the way he welcomed everyone. Whether you were a close friend, a relative, or someone he had just met, Julio had a way of making you feel like you were already part of the family. He made people feel at home wherever they were.

He was also hardworking and took pride in what he did. After coming to the United States, he became a painter and developed a reputation for the care and attention to detail he put into his work. He was passionate about doing things well, and that same passion could be seen in so many parts of his life.

When he wasn’t working, Julio loved singing karaoke and playing and watching soccer. He loved being around people, hosting parties, telling stories, laughing, joking around, and making memories. More than anything, he loved his family and treasured the time he was able to spend with them.

Julio was preceded in death by his mother, Enedina Madin, and his father, Fransisco Garcia.

He leaves behind his beloved wife, Josefina Lara Martinez; his daughters, Susana Garcia, Cintya Garcia, Luz Garcia Lara, and Sophia Garcia Lara; and his grandchildren, Julio Manuel Morales Garcia, Mirlette Pamela Morales Garcia, Diana Camilla Sanchez Garcia, and Elias Bare. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who loved him and whose lives he touched.

Julio will be remembered for his laughter, his goofiness, his charisma, his willingness to help others, and his passion for life. But most of all, he will be remembered for the way he made people feel. He had a way of turning friends into family, and anyone who knew him could feel that they belonged.

His family will carry his stories, his laughter, his love, and the memories he gave them for the rest of their lives. Though he is no longer here, the joy he brought into the lives of the people around him will remain with them always.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13, 2026 between 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Family encourages all who loved Julio to bring a picture or momento to be displayed on his memory table.

Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Friday, August 14, at Iglesia Catolica Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe, 6212 Tuckaseegee Rd, Charlotte, NC 28214. Julio will be laid to rest at Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens, 1520 W Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 282621520 W Sugar Creek Rd, Charlotte, NC 28262, immediately following service.
