Karen Helms England, age 64 of Midland, beloved wife of 46 years to Larry Eugene England, passed away October 30, 2014. Born in Charlotte, NC on November 14, 1949, she was the daughter of the late William Stafford and Margaret (Christenbury) Helms.
Prior to retirement, Karen worked for Charlotte Neurosurgery and Spine for 25 years. She was also a long time member of Hunter Acres Baptist Church in Charlotte for over 20 years. She was a very loving and devoted wife and mother and will be dearly missed.
Besides her husband Larry, she is survived by her two sons, Scott England(Goldie) of Charlotte and Josh England(Keena) of Midland; five grandchildren and two brothers, Billy Helms(Nan) of Iron Station and Roger Helms(Tinna) of Kings Mountain. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 3rd, 2 PM in the Paul Helton Chapel of Forest Lawn West Funeral Home, with Pastor Donald Newell to officiate.
