Karen Annette Freeman

Karen is survived by her beloved daughters, Kailey Davis (Eric) and Ali Barberree, her adoring grandchildren Morgan and Cam, her devoted siblings, Kathy Cuff (Dale), Tony Freeman and Anissa Starnes (Jerry), her loving niece and nephew, Jordan and Sam Cuff and her cherished parents, John and Annette Freeman. Karen treasured her Aunt Katharine and deeply loved her extended families, the Sadlers and Kings. Karen was predeceased by her grandparents, Pryor and Julia King and Arthur Herron and Lillian Freeman and her Uncle Herb King.

Karen lived a vibrant life full of joy, with the ability to see and share the good in everything. She was her happiest while sitting by the ocean. She was known for her bold laughter, grace filled heart and for singing and dancing wherever she went. She brought comfort and warmth to all who knew her. Her legacy of love, wisdom and affection will continue to inspire those she left behind.

The family would like to share a special thank you to the entire staff and residents of Wickshire Assisted Living and Via Health Partners/Hospice, who loved and cared for Karen so well. The love, comfort and grace they shared with family was a direct reflection of Karen.

A celebration of life to honor Karen will be held on August 12, 2024 at 1pm. The service will be held at New River Church. 136 Carroll Cove Lake Wylie SC 29710.
