Karen Lynn Hearn

Lynn Hearn, of Mooresville, NC and North Myrtle Beach, SC, died October 8, 2011 at her home. Lynn was the daughter of Frances Bryant Hearn and the late Dwight Edward (Red) Hearn.

She is survived by her mom, Frances Hearn; her most amazing daughter, Hannah Elise Hearn; brother, Eddie Hearn (Brenda); sister, Annie Raborn, (Curlee); nephews, Billy Arnette, Trey Hearn, Chris Hearn; niece April Earnhardt, and aunts, Jane McDowell, Betty Bryant, and Faye Pennington.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by niece, Amy Raborn.

Lynn retired from the post office in Little River, SC in 2006. She was known for her serving and giving heart. She was devoted to her family; sacrificing all she was to them. Her daughter was her heart, her face would light up at the mention of her name. Lynn touched so many lives that the ripples will be left for generations to come. Lynn was also a brave warrior, fighting a four year battle with cancer. Never once did her spirit falter. As her nephew, (son) Billy carried her into the doctor’s office and she was asked “how are you doing”, she would say “I am fine”, and Fine she was. Lynn was the Angel in our family.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Forest Lawn West Cemetery with Brent Edwards officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Cancer Association of your choice.
