Katherine P. Foster

Katherine Page Foster, 81 of Charlotte, died peacefully at her home on May 29, 2012 while surrounded by her family. She was born on September 25, 1930 in York County SC to the late Glenn and Lillie Workman Page.

Always extending her hand to help others, she was a woman of deep devotion to her faith. A loving matriarch for her family, she was generous with her kindness and wisdom.

Services for Mrs. Page will be held 11:00am Friday, June 1, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on Statesville Road. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 31, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Grady, Waddell and Glenn Page, Jr.; sisters, Ida Mae Baker and Augusta Hill.

Surviving are her children; daughter, Mae Foster; son, George Allen Foster Jr. and wife Robin, all of Charlotte; eight grandchildren, Morris and Chase Foster, Marcus and Mea Foster, Joan and Robert Foster, Georbin and Iylana Foster; one great granddaughter, Raegan Foster; sisters, Avery Page, Marion Page, Helen Lynch, and a host of nieces nephews and cousins.
