Dear Christy and Rob,
My heart goes out to you in this time of loss and confusion. Whenever we lose a loved one, there are so many things left unanswered, but to lose a child so young, there are no words. Her memorial video is beautiful, and her spirit lives on in everyone she touched. Your and your family’s lives are infinitely richer for having known her unconditional love and capacity for joy. I will keep you and KK in my prayers.

Dear Christy and Rob,

The special place that KK has had in your heart has been so clear from the very beginning. Seeing you all together at John's Island, hearing updates on how KK was doing, seeing a video or a beautiful holiday photo - there has always been so much love, care and fierce determination to support her happiness in everything you do. 

I wish there were more that I could say beyond how sorry I am for your loss and that Nick and I are sending you, Mimi and Bo our love and holding you in our hearts.

While KK left this world much too soon, it’s clear she had an impact on so many and brought so much joy into so many people’s lives. The service for her today was beautiful, especially when Christy spoke about not only how blessed people were to have KK in their lives, but also how blessed KK was to have them in her’s. Christy didn’t note how blessed KK was to have her as a mother, but we all know that she made KK’s too-brief time here special and full of love. They had a beautiful bond that can’t be broken.  My heart goes out to the  Ughetta family.

As is so evident from the magnificent photos that you  shared, KK was a beautiful light in this world and her presence will be indelibly etched in your hearts forever.  You were all so lucky to have each other albeit for way too short a time.  

Your extraordinary care of KK allowed her to live a life with wonderful experiences that were filled with love and joy.   May her memory always be close and may she be always be in peace.

I’ve been trying to come up with the words to express how my heart feels and it’s been near to impossible. They always say teachers aren’t suppose to have favorites but KK, everyone knew you were mine. You were my little sidekick. You helped me with everything and went everywhere with me around school. It won’t be the same around Metro without you. I’ll forever miss your infectious laughter, and wonderful hugs. You had such a spunky and determined personality. OMG....words can't explain how I feel because my angel has went home. Kk you already know I was more than your care giver, u was my family. I just can't believe God called you home before I got back.
