Kathleen Kay Monroe

She was born in Kansas City, MO in 1942 and adopted by Louis and Evelyn Monroe. Kathy was raised primarily in Mankato, MN. She graduated from East Mankato High School before marrying Charles Mueller and raising three daughters. She worked for Manpower Temporary Services as a District Manager before retiring to Myrtle Beach, SC and then Charlotte, NC.

Kathy was preceded in death by her previous husbands, Charles Mueller, James White and her parents, Evelyn and Louis Monroe. She is survived by her daughters, Susan Oachs (Randy Oachs), Margaret Telfer (Michael Telfer), Anne Jeffries (Lamont Jeffries, deceased) and her niece Julie Mueller. Kathy also is survived by her five grandchildren, Jamie Brewer (Dan Brewer), Jeremy Oachs (Sasha Oachs), Noah Telfer, Joshua Telfer and Ananias Jeffries and two great-grandchildren, Harper and Laurel Oachs.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 4 at St. Michael The Archangel Anglican Church, 221 Margaret Wallace Rd, Matthews, NC 28105
