Kay Colson Thomas

Raised in South Charlotte, Kay was born August 1, 1957 and graduated from Olympic High School. She then attended CPCC where she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Shortly after finishing her LPN program, Kay was involved in an accident that left her paralyzed. She had been a resident of Hickory Place in Charlotte for the last 33 years.

Kay is preceded in death by her father Charles Cleveland Thomas (C.C.), her mother Winnie Colson Thomas and her brother James Brooks Thomas (Jimmy). She is survived by her brother John Charles Thomas (Johnny).

Kay was a kind, light hearted spirit; she was loved and will be missed.
