Kayler was born in Augusta, GA on December 27,1964 to the late Jane Kayler Parish and Walter Love.
She is survived by her husband of 15 years Dale McMichael of Matthews, NC; her father Walter Love and sister Angela Love both of Wilmington, NC; her brother Brad Love and his wife Tatiana Perapialitsa, and nephews Ethan, Robert and David Love of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Kayler and Dale enjoyed traveling, with some very notable trips with family to Napa Valley, San Francisco, Belize, Kauai. She loved both the North Carolina mountains and considered the beach home. So there are many memorable trips to both. Christmas for the last 30 years in Wrightsville Beach, NC with a multitude of family and life long friends was the highlight of her year.
Kayler was a passionate human, but dance and loving friendships were at the top of those passions.
Her love of dance took her away from home at an early age for a scholarship to The North Carolina School of the Arts where she graduated with a diploma in Ballet. Her love of dance continued through her life in many ways, she was the first president of the Charlotte Corp de Ballet. She later taught dance for the Weddington Middle School and until the pandemic, she taught ballet for Dance Carolina.
Kayler started her career with Piedmont Air as a flight attendant and later with USAir. Opting to leave the volatility of the airlines she chose to go into the medical field where she has spent the last 18 years as a Laser Technician with Atrium and Tryon Medical Partners.
She was simply an amazing person who touched many lives with her beaming smile and warm heart. She was truly cut from another cloth.
Although these words have attempted to summarize this amazing human being’s life and contribution to our world, they have failed - as any and all words fail when trying to capture her beauty.
A celebration of life for Kayler will be held Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 4:00 PM at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, North Carolina 28210.
