She was in the company of her loving parents. She attended La Reina High School in Thousand Oaks, California and graduated from Sabino High School in Tucson. She was active in cheerleading and competitive swimming. The joy of Kelly’s life was spending time with close friends, her family and her pets. Always a bright light in any room, she nurtured relationships with friends from grade school, high school, college, and, from her working career. Kelly traveled extensively in the U.S. and Europe and was an avid fan of Formula One Grand Prix racing and anything to do with rescue animals.
She is survived by her parents, her adoptive “aunt and uncle” John and Bonnie Large of Indianapolis, Indiana, and a large group collectively known as “the friends” from Orange County California.
A celebration of Kelly’s life will be held at Crystal Cove, California in September. Private interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery and Memorial Gardens in Charlotte.
