Kenneth Todd Bernstein

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tamzan Jeannine Bernstein. He is survived by his father, Gerald Ernest Bernstein; his brother, Phillip John Bernstein (Gail); and two nephews, Eric Bernstein (Brittany) and Alex Bernstein (Emily).

Ken was born December 27th, 1964 in Coral Gables, Florida. He graduated from Wolfson Senior High School in Jacksonville, Florida.

Ken was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers, Florida State Seminoles and NASCAR fan. He will be missed on the golf courses and bowling alleys around Charlotte. His favorite moments were spent having BBQ with family and friends.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Pavilion Skilled Nursing Center for their care and rehabilitation during Ken’s stay.

The family thanks everyone for the expressions of condolences. In lieu of a funeral service, the family asks that all who wish to participate make a donation in Ken’s name to JDRF North Carolina Chapter, 205 Regency Executive Park, Suite 102, Charlotte, 28217 (Reference Jake’s Jaywalkers). The family will hold a private ceremony scattering his ashes at a later date.
