Khalil Ja Smith was born on July 1st 2023. Khalil passed peacefully in the arms of family the same day at Novant Health and went to his heavenly home. Khalil was the treasured son of De’Aja and Demitri Smith.
Even though his time was short, he brought his family immense love and joy.

He is survived by his parents De’Aja and Demitri; siblings Kali Rose, Khlani; maternal grandparents Shaunta Sherrill (Charlotte), and Carlos Neal (Charlotte); aunts Angel Tucker, Ny’Kera Smith; uncles Kendall , Zachariah, Jeremiah, Darrell; and a host of cousins.
Khalil is proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother, Tamaker Thompson.
