Kim was not only my coworker, but also my friend. We immediately clicked over our dark humor, political views and the love for margaritas. We constantly sent each other memes and discussed the status of the world, travels, her life in London, & just life itself. When I started working with her I didn’t know many people because I had just moved to Charlotte, she would constantly come to me with brewery and restaurant ideas to try out and we could talk about the Charlotte food scene for hours!

There are so many more great things I could write about Kim.. she was a devoted caretaker, she had a rock n roll attitude and was always laughing at everything. I truly miss her.

I had the pleasure of fostering Lola after her passing, she is now with Pawsitively Pug Rescue And is getting all the medical care she needs. Lola was a complete delight to have and she misses Kim, but I ensured she went to one of the best rescue groups so she can have the best life and care possible along with other Pugs. She is in a blind and deaf friendly home❤️

I’m rarely a loss for words, but right now, I can’t seem to find the right ones to say — They seem blocked by a permanent lump in my throat and a crack in my heart. I’m going to miss Kim so much - she was a real kindred spirit. We loved so many of the same odd combinations of things - she was someone I could rock and roll with one minute and have tea in my finest china with the next. She contained multitudes and I loved that about her. She was a kind supportive friend and I will never forget her. May light perpetual shine upon Kim as she is reunited with her beloved father in God’s heavenly country. And for her friends and family and all bereaved, I pray for peace and strength as we mourn her passing, but give thanks to God for her life on earth and the joy of her presence in our own lives. May her memory be a blessing.

Dearest Kim,
you will be missed my friend. Our moments together are engraved in my mind and were so very special. You were one of the first people I met in Florida as a young hard headed teenager. Thank you for being a friend. Sleep well and God bless you always. My condolences to your mom and family.

I met my dear friend Kim when working at The WestMinster Hotel in 2002, during that time I was working the front desk and Kim was in banquets. From that moment Kim demonstrated how special and caring she was. We shared some awesome times!!!!
