Larry Gene Briggs

Throughout his life, Larry was known for his dedication to both his profession and his community. He served as a Vice President of Technology at Bank of America, where he built a successful career marked by leadership, integrity, and commitment. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was an active member of his church, serving faithfully on numerous committees and ministries.

Larry had a heart for service and giving back to others. He served as a Boy Scout Leader, worked with the AFS Student Exchange Program, and was actively involved with the Harding High School Booster Club. Through these organizations, he touched the lives of many and made lasting contributions to his community.

Above all, Larry cherished his family. He shared 58 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marion. He is lovingly remembered by his son, Chris (Rebecca); his son, Jens (Katherine); and his three cherished granddaughters. His love, wisdom, and gentle presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A memorial service celebrating Larry's life will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Steele Creek Presbyterian Church at Pleasant Hill.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the Memorial Service from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to remain for a Celebration of Life gathering beginning at 3:00 p.m.
