Larry Lee Littleton

He was born on June 29, 1939, in Moore County, to Lillian and Beecher Littleton.

Larry spent his life fully devoted to his family. His family brought him his greatest joy in his final years. He especially enjoyed sitting in a rocking chair at the beach and sharing stories. He faithfully served as a deacon and elder at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church for many years and dutifully served his country as a U.S. Navy veteran.

He will be fondly remembered for his witty, charming, and Southern sense of humor and one-liners. He had a passion for his animals and will be sorely missed by his grandpuppies, Dillie and Scout.

He is survived by his wife, Bunny Littleton; his children, Lee Littleton (Marlis) and Melinda Smith (Doug Serafin); and his grandchildren, Carter Littleton, Braden Smith, and Deacon Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Beecher and Lillian Littleton; his brothers, Ronald and Kermit Littleton; and his sister, Greeley Littleton.

A celebration of life will be held on February 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church, 3307 Rea Road, Charlotte, NC 28226.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church or the Humane Society of Charlotte.
