Lena Claudine Ford, 47, of Greensboro, NC passed away on April 24. She was born on August 13, 1964 in Mecklenburg County to Harolee and Claudine Ford. Lena was a 1982 graduate of Olympic High School and of North Carolina State University in 1987. Lena loved animals and watching movies with her family, and was an excellent cook. She had a big heart and was always willing to help others. Lena was a great mother and sister and will be missed by many.
Lena is survived by her daughter, Mary Margaret Tourtellot; son Bentz Howell Tourtellot; and sister, Veda Ford. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Harolee Ford, Jr.; and sister Tracie Ford.
A memorial service will be held Friday April 27, 2012 at 3 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210.
