She was born on the 27th of June, 1953 in Spokane, Washington, one of four children to the late Richard Allen McNeely and Delores Ruger McNeely. Linda was a 1972 graduate of Garringer High School in Charlotte. She had a long and successful career as an agent for several insurance companies in the Charlotte area for thirty years.
The family will greet friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM, Tuesday, the 9th of June, 2026 in the Chapel of McEwen Funeral Service at Forest Lawn West. A service by the graveside will follow at 11:00 AM in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Linda is survived by her two daughters: Meliss Kimmons and Heather Hudson and her husband, Daniel; grandchildren: Elizabeth Kimmons, Joey Kimmons, Aiden Kimmons, Aaron Hudson and Brian Hudson and three great grandchildren: Alaura, Grayson and Adaira all of Charlotte, NC; two sisters, Lily Cogar of Clarksburg, WV and Lyla Farmer of Rapid City, MI and one brother, Richard McNeely of New London, NC.
