Born June 21, 1946 in Charlotte, NC she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Moore. Following graduation from South Mecklenburg High School, Linda furthered her education at Gardner-Webb College. Her career as a Reservationist at Eastern Airlines spanned over 20 years. Later, Linda met Fred Keeter and began working at Process Valve Supply & Service as an Executive Assistant/Secretary. After over five years she retired.
Fred and Linda lived together as partners in life, mostly in the Fort Mill, SC area, for over 30 years until her death.
Linda enjoyed life and had many life-long friends. Susan Michaels Manning became fast friends with Linda while at Gardner-Webb College. They later shared an apartment and followed each other to Eastern Airlines. Eunice Ruff and Bernadette Faulkner were always close to Linda and stayed in touch throughout their lives and careers.
Linda was always warm, friendly and welcoming, and seemed to know everyone she came in touch with. She also enjoyed following pro and college football (especially the Carolina Panthers) and pro golf. Linda often went straight to the Food Network Channel to get ideas of what to cook at home. She loved making meals for Fred and made that the focus of every evening with their time together.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister Brenda Moore Boyd, who passed away in 2023.
Those left to cherish Linda's memory are Fredrick Keeter, brother-in-law William "Billy" Boyd, niece Lauren Lucky, cousins Al Frazier, Jerry Mullis, Karen Wagoner, Gary Moore, Scott Moore, and Tamra Benfield. Also, Fred's brother Bill and his wife Peggy.
