

Linda Kay Nall, 83, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away on July 30, 2026. Born November 11, 1942, in Albany, Georgia, she will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Kay grew up in St.Simons, GA and the Atlanta area. She attended Milledgeville College for Women, where she met the love of her life, Blair Nall. They would marry and and move to Albany, GA. Kay’s beloved husband, Wilbur Blair Nall, preceded her in death in 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Howard Carter and Inez Carter, and by her sister, Shelby Townsend.
Kay is survived by her three children, B'lynda Dorn (Paul Dorn)of Charlotte, D'Anna B. Massey of SW Cape Coral, Florida and John H. Nall of Cape Coral, Florida. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Dustin Nall, Cammy Nall and Amanda Massey. She has two beloved sisters, Myra Morgan{(Darrell Morgan) and Beth Tison (Richard Tison).
Throughout her life, Kay was known for a steady thoughtfulness and a kind-hearted way of caring for others—qualities that were felt most deeply within her family, where she was a dedicated mother and grandmother who truly valued time together.
Kay was quite a baker and was known for her pound cake and lemon pie. She also enjoyed various kinds of art, especially her time with painting and watercolors. She loved true crime novels and Celtic Music. In her later retired years she spent time volunteering with Servant's Heart of Mint Hill, a reflection of the compassionate spirit that guided her life.
A Committal Service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC 28212, on August 7, 2026, at 1:00 pm.

The family is sincerely grateful to the Hospice nurses for their care, compassion and kindness during the last stages of Kay's life.
