Lisa Davis, cherished wife of Tom and mother of Dane, passed away on October 5, 2012 in Asheville, North Carolina. Lisa is described as “the perfect wife and mother” by her grief stricken family to whom she devoted her life.
She was possessed of an energetic, optimistic personality, and was clearly the sustaining and nurturing presence in her home. In addition to her husband and son, Lisa loved her many pets including her lovely cats “Joy” and “Atticus Finch”. She was also a fan of country music and sports. She and her husband enjoyed the beauty of the North Carolina mountains and frequently vacationed there to visit Little Switzerland, where the couple hoped to retire. Lisa was a fantastic cook who traditionally hosted family Thanksgiving dinners for the Davis family at her home in Charlotte. Lisa also enjoyed a close relationship with her sister Debbie, her brother Mark and her cousin Karen. In addition to her family life, she was an extremely intelligent, well organized, hard working sales force manager for Lender Processing Services. Her enormous contribution to that organization will be sorely missed.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband Thomas Davis and son, Dane Bastian, both of Charlotte; sister, Debbie Piccolo of Marlboro, NJ; brother, Mark Antista of Lake Worth Florida; cousin, Karen Giacobbe; and aunt Jackie Vanak, both of New Jersey.
A Prayer Service to celebrate her life will be held at 7 pm on Thursday evening, October 11, 2012 at Harry & Bryant, 500 Providence Road. The family will receive friends immediately following until 8:30 pm. The committal by the graveside will be held at 11 am on Friday the 12th at Sharon Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Charlotte. Lisa was very devoted to her pets.
