Lisa Naomi Faulkner

Lisa Naomi Steppe Faulkner of Waxhaw, NC passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2011. She was born on May 30, 1967 in Washington, DC. After graduating from Dreher High School in 1985, Lisa went on to the University of South Carolina where she graduated in 1989 with a BS in Psychology. She was a dedicated employee of United Healthcare for 18 years. Lisa and her family were faithful members of Nations Ford Community Church.

Lisa is survived by her loving husband of 9 years, Curley Faulkner; her 6 year old son, Miles Faulkner; her mother, Jane Steppe of Columbia, SC; 2 aunts, Elizabeth Jackson of Waynesboro, VA and Marie Morton of Suitland, MD; one uncle, Benjamin Coles of Waynesboro, VA and her best sister friend, Rosalind Rainge of Mableton, GA along with a host of cousins and friends. Lisa is predeceased by her grandparents, Samuel and Louise Morton formerly of Charlottesville, VA.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm at McEwen Funeral Service, Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Road, Charlotte, NC 28210. Burial will follow at Forest lawn East Cemetery.
