OBITUARY
Lois Sanders Sanders Adams
October 6, 1918 – August 28, 2011
Lois Sanders Adams, 92, died Sunday, August 28, 2011 at her residence. Born in Rockingham, NC on October 6, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Sanders and Lilly Elizabeth Yandle Sanders. Mrs. Adams had been a member of Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church since 1954. She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, John Hope Adams and a granddaughter, Patricia Adams Bell.
A funeral service to celebrate her life will be held at 2:30PM, Thursday, September 1st at Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM to 2:15PM in the church chapel prior to the funeral.
Mrs. Adams is survived by three sons, Ronald Hope Adams, of Charleston, SC, John Wayne Adams and wife Cathy, of Charlotte, Charles Thomas Adams, of Huntersville, NC; a daughter, Ann Adams Hargrett and husband C.B., of Mooresville, NC; two sisters, Gladys Wellman, of Charlotte, Vera Dunlop and husband Bill, of Charlotte; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Mallard Creek Presbyterian Church, 1600 W. Mallard Creek Church Road, Charlotte, NC 28262 or Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region, 1420 East 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28204.

After church on Sundays Mrs. Adams always stopped to talk to Chris & I and give us a wonderful smile. Our prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. She will be greatly missed.
