Lois was born to the late Lowe and Janie Norman in Charlotte, NC on May 19, 1929. She worked for the City of Charlotte as an Executive Secretary until she retired in 1992. Lois was a longtime member of the Pitts Baptist Church in Concord, NC. She enjoyed playing bingo and resided at Brookdale Assisted Living in Concord, NC for over three years.
Visitation will take place at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte on Thursday, February 16, 2017 beginning at 1:00pm. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
Lois was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Bill Osborne, who passed away on February 17, 2004. She is survived by her daughter Priscilla (David) Desmet; grandchildren William Desmet, Christopher (Amy) Desmet; five great-grandchildren Julia, Jake, Megan, Lauren and Knox.
