Lonnie Lonnie, as we called him when we worked in YP. We never knew what was happening next as he and Jack and I worked traveling from town to town selling YP in the early 70's. There are so many Funny stories and good times! The perfect co-worker & Friend of many years ago. Rest in Peace and you are missed!

Lonnie lived life to the fullest. It's hard to fathom that he is gone, because all the memories I have of him flood my mind and make me smile. Lonnie, you might not be on this earth any longer, but you are still here - inside of each person you touched in some way. You will never be forgotten!

Lonnie was one of my very best friends.  I've known him for 48 years.  We did almost everything together.  Losing him is like losing a brother.  Lonnie should have been a comedian, he was a real jokester, and was one of the funniest people I have ever known.  He could make a joke out of almost anything.  I will truly miss him.  Good bye old friend, rest in peace.

The door bell at the Killian House is now silent but your memory will live on forever. He was a big part of our family and will be sorely missed. He was one of the funniest guys I have ever met. Rest in peace my old friend. So sorry for the families loss.

My cousin and my friend.  My memories of him are all about fun, laughter, games, and this one date he had with a girl that he let this little cousin kid tag along on.  It was Putt Putt, but can you imagine her horror?   I still laugh though because that is who he was. Hilarious, kind, and full of laughs and love.  I loved to call him on the phone because I never knew how he would answer it...Would he act like a voice mail machine?   Would it be the grocery store? No matter what, it always set the tone for a fun conversation full of life.  I will miss him terribly.  The uniqueness of him. 

I have read all posts before mine and as we grieve and mourn together, I hope we also celebrate that we were so blessed that God put him in our lives.

Lonnie was a unique individual that made a lasting impression on everyone that he ever met. He was a great friend with a quick wit and a sharp mind. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

I worked  with Lonnie back in the day at BellSouth.  He was always smiling and  simply a happy-go-lucky person. I am very sorry to hear of his passing.  My condolences to his family.

Have known Lonnie since 2nd grade at Oakhurst and then at BellSouth.  So sorry to hear of his passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I met Lonnie on trip to Russia and we became friends and went off the map together to go with two girls we saw at the ballet and between us we agreed to be Southern Gentleman{that night}. I have great merories of our trips and outings and going to the  original Hornets games.
