A native of Zeeland, North Dakota, Mrs. Fry was born to the late Otto Aipperspach and Fredricka Weisser Aipperspach on June 5, 1938. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Denise Renee Palmer and by siblings, Violet, Ramona and Adam Weist.
Mrs. Fry is survived by her husband, Charles Fry; son, Charlie Fry and wife Lisa of Charlotte; step-daughter, Angela Carol Nelson of Huntington, West Virginia; sisters, May Rieger, Roberta Vandersler and grandchildren, Maeve and Mason Fry.
A memorial service will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, January 17 in the chapel at McEwen Funeral Service, Derita Chapel, 6300 Mallard Creek Rd., Charlotte. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.
The family would like to express special thanks to the physicians and nurses in the neurosurgery intensive care unit at Carolinas Medical Center for all their care and support.
