

TSGGT Solomon was called to deployment on February 24, 2012 to his heavenly assignment. Louie served his county and family with commitment, honor, loyalty and dignity. He served in the Korean and Vietnam war. He was a member of the Barksdale High Power Rifle Team (USAF) and set the 1st time records with M-1 Rifles.
Following his military retirement he worked for Sears in Air conditioning and heating for 20 years and eventually opened his own business Solomon’s and Sons serving Charlotte and the surrounding areas. He was also a member of the Scottish Rites, 32nd degree.
The Solomon family will greet friends 10:30 AM, Monday, February 27, 2012 at McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with The Reverend Tommy Bright officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will have refreshments following the burial in the State hall of the funeral home.
Mr. Solomon is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Jeannie Solomon; his children: Debra White, Acree Lee Scercy, Tina Currie and Jeffrey Solomon will deeply miss him. His legacy of 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren will continue his honor; two precious sisters: Acree Armstrong and Nancy Patterson of Charlotte, NC.
Louie was a loving, loyal friend and a giving man. He could fix anything and worked hard for his family. He had a strong presence about him by everyone that knew him.
