A native of Spotsylvania, VA, Mrs. Helson was born on February 29, 1928. She is survived by her sons, Jay Helson and wife Angela of Mooresville, Michael Helson of Charlotte; granddaughters, Taylor Helson of Mooresville and Samantha Hafner of Florida.
A graveside service will be held 11:00a.m., Tuesday, December 24 in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m., Monday evening at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
