Thomas (Tom) was born on March 25, 1936 to the late Fannie Louise Smith and William Robert Partain. He is survived by his children; Debby Williams (Kenny), Jr. Partain (Teresa), Tina Mull (Karl), and Brandon Partain (Stacey). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren as well as siblings; Lester Partain (Sheila), Troy Partain (Jean), Hazel Myers, Virginia Fleming (Alvin), and Pauline Russ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mickie Partain and his son, Jimmy Partain.
Tom served in the U.S. Army in the 10th Signal Battalion beginning in 1954 and was honorably discharged in 1957. He was employed with Ryerson Steel for 33 years and logged over 2 million safe-driving miles. He was also an avid collector of knives.
A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2:00pm in the chapel. Burial will be immediately following the service at Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
