Luisito, you were a very special human being. You were my very first nephew, my pride and joy. Through you I learned what a love for a baby was like. Your sudden good bye has left me heartbroken and sad. But I have the certainty that this is just a see you later titi, like you used to say to me. I know you are in a better place today, and the first one (as usual) to be in the presence of our Lord Almighty God. A gutsy and brave soldier was needed in the army of the heavens. God called and you responded with a "gimme a second, I'll be right there". I ask God to keep you under His restful and loving wings. My dear nephew SSG Luis Alamo Jr., I love you, go on your new journey, and rest in peace. Love you, Titi Nydia.

Luis, Aida, and Angela I know that there is nothing I can say that will make the pain go away. I will always remember Junior for his incredible friendship and dedication to his family and our country. Farewell to a great NCO, brother, son, and what I was most honored to call him, a friend.
