We met Lydia many years ago and right away  she felt like family. The warmth of her smile was so genuine & sweet.  Our prayers are with those who knew & loved this beautiful woman.  Rest easy sweet Lydia.

   Life will never be the same, my heart aches to hear your voice, hear your laughter, hear the crunching of your ice. Nobody will ever replace you. I will forever miss your beauty, your smell so girly, the way you would say Shabby Chic. I hated the pinching of the cheeks but now my heart wishes to feel the pinch one more time. You were always so well kept. Nails painted, make-up done, and color coordinated. Even though your gone your memories will be left here,  your love and wishes will always be our guide we cannot see you but you’re definitely at our side. You were taken too soon. Que triste la partida de Lydia y su hijo Lowlye.  Lydia fue parte de nuestra familia desde pequeña, la vimos crecer, conocimos a sus niños . Lydia siempre que venía a Puerto Rico visitaba a mami quien la quería tanto. Recuerdo a Lydia con su risa, su alegría, su maquillaje impecable, un hermoso ser humano por dentro y fuera. 
Pido a Dios conceda fortaleza a su hijo Yeshua, a su esposo, a su mamá y demás familiares para afrontar este momento de dolor. 
Lydia descansa junto a su amado hijo en los brazos de nuestro Señor. Siempre te recordaremos, Yiya.

Ha sido un gran golpe para nosotros. Ustedes saben que somos una sola familia pues fue una vida compartiendo con ustedes durante nuestro crecimiento en el barrio.
Lydia fue para nosotros una hermana pequeña a la que quisimos siempre, y que eternamente querremos, por lo buena persona que fue y por el cariño que le brindó a nuestra madre Julita.
Un abrazo fuerte para todos y nuestras más sinceras condolencias. Saben que su dolor es el nuestro.

On behalf  of all your classmates from Class of 1985, José Gautier Benítez, Caguas.  We send our heartfelt sympathy and our prayers. Our condolences to all the family and friends. Lydia got a chance to be with us at our 30th Anniversary and we shared many laughs.  Rest in peace Lydia and Lowlye. We will miss you.

Lydia was a very loving cousin. She always had a big smile in her face. Every time she came to Puerto Rico she called all the family. She loved her family deeply.

Last year I was in a trining in Charlotte and quickly she called me and we went to dinner and also to her home. We laughed so much that day and today I'm thankful for the opportunity to coincide with her that day. 

Lydia will be miss deeply, for her famy and husband thanks for gave me the honor to be her cousin,

friends since high school 1985. we participated many beautiful moments.  I went to her wedding, I saw her first pregnancy. We witness our weddings and many birthdays.  Lydia was a cheerful, humble and helpful woman.  Despite always moving to different cities, she was always aware of our friendship.  Thank you friend for everything beautiful that you always give me you.  I will always remember you and carry you in my heart until we find our souls again ...
