Lyndell Walker Randall

Nashville, Tennessee

Lyndell passed away peacefully on Friday, Dec 4, 2015, into the arms of her Heavenly Father. Born in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 16, 1934. Lyndell married her college sweetheart Alex Houston and they settled in Nashville, Tennessee where they raised their three daughters, Laurie, Bonnie, and Cindy. Lyndell was a homemaker, part-time model, and Republican volunteer.

In 1970, she married Dr. Edwin Randall and they became a family of eight with his sons Randy, Timmy, and Barclay. Lyndell enjoyed a successful career for 15 years as a Property Manager and then 10 years with Metro Nash Probate Court.

Preceded in death by parents, Curtis & Edna Walker. She is survived by daughters Laurie (Bob) Canham, Bonnie (Scott) Solomon, and Cindy Houston Hazen; sister, Elaine Collingwood; brother, Wayne Walker; sons, Randy (Toni) Randall and Barclay Randall. Also, Lyndell has a niece, Kathy Griffith McIntyre and nephew, Gerald (Patty) Griffith. She is blessed to have many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with 3 cousins, and other family members and friends.

A Funeral was held on Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Hermitage, Tennessee, officiated by Lyndell’s beloved lifetime friend, Pastor Gary Speich. Lyndell was a member of Hickory Bend Methodist Church. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in Sharon Memorial Park, 5716 Monroe Road, Charlotte, North Carolina.
