Marcell Parker Moore was born on October 13, 1933 to Franklin Earl and Virginia Gains Parker in Taylorsville, North Carolina. She was the second of 8 children and attended school in Hiddenite, North Carolina. On November 11, 1950, Marcell was married to the love of her life, Grady Moore. During their 47 years of marriage, together they raised four children (John Ray Moore, Bobbie Walden, Michael Moore, and Candice Earley). She was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on December 24, 2005 and was a beloved member of the congregation. Marcell was a loving mother, devoted wife and caring sister.
Marcell is preceded in death by her parents (Franklin Earl and Virginia Gains Parker), in-laws (James Arthur and Mae Moore), husband (Grady Moore), son (John Ray), sister (Pauline Poor and Mary Lee Beckham), brother (Cecil Parker), brothers-in-law (James Beckham, Joy McFee, James Moore, Franklin D. Moore, and Grady Lambert) and sisters-in-law (Carrie Parker, Red Moore, Dorothy Lambert, and Grace Moore). She is survived by sisters (Margie Morrison (Donald), Lucille McFee, Phyllis Henry (Chris)), brother (Jay Parker), children (Bobbie Walden, Michael Moore, and Candice Earley), and grandchildren (Robbie Moore (Renee), Brandy Ballard (Ray), Kellie White (Tim), Richard Walden, Brittany Mulwee (Ryan), Taylor Moore, Tiffany Earley, and Joshua Earley) and great-grandchildren (Alyssa Peebles (Austin), Zane Earley, Axel Earley, and Hunter Mulwee) and one great-great granddaughter (Taegyn Peebles).
