Funeral services will be at 11:00AM Tuesday, July 21st at Covenant United Methodist Church, 6824 Tuckaseegee Rd, Reverend Doctor Fredrick Bowman and Reverend De Hillyer officiating. Visitation will be Monday, July 20th from 7-9PM to at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery.
Mrs. Broome was born February 6, 1921 in Union county daughter of the late Thomas and Connie Foard Lemmond. She is a member of Covenant UMC and a former member of St. James UMC, a graduate of Thomasboro High School, and a member of the Daughter of the Confederacy. Nephews and nieces survive. Active Pallbearers will be Roger Lemmond, Mike Lemmond, Bruce Lemmond, Tom Lemmond, Bradford Trull and Steve Marks. Remaining nephews will be honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, make memorials to St. Judes Childrens Hospital or to Covenant UMC.
