Margaret is preceded in death by her parents James and Catherine Cartledge; daughter Wendy Jenkins; husband Bryce Everhart. She is survived by her stepdaughter Lynn Kiser; grandchildren Thomas Deaton (Caitlin), Wesley Deaton (Katelyn), Jesse Kiser and Lauren Kiser; five great grandchildren.
Margaret retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after 30 years of service. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling, and being at the beach. She was a member of the Mecklenburg Shag Club and enjoyed going to SOS with family and friends. Margaret also attended many events with her husband through the Mecklenburg Shrine Club.
Visitation will be held at McEwen Funeral Service, 5716 Monroe Rd, Charlotte on Thursday July 21st from 10:00am-11:45am with the service following at 12:00pm.
